It seemed this went well and it functioned fine on tests and thus I signed the work off as complete. Some colleges like to keep these things separate but we have a more centralised system and it wasn't worth splitting the campuses up for Admin reasons. One of the guys in our team (let's call him $puppet_master) had assorted the permissions for software and had full permissions to modify user and group all 3 campus into one campus. We put the software in the ISO which all the computers were imaged from at the beginning of the year. I was put in charge of the system and we bought a package that was subsequently installed on we the server. Most of these students do a bridging course where they do very basic work roughly equivalent to a low GCSE (Level 1 GCSE or F-D)Īs most of these do group work together we thought we would put remote access and monitoring software ($Locksoftware) on the computers to allow staff to more closely monitor students in their class. In college we have some students that have learning difficulties - these include students with concentration issues such as ADHD, sight and so on.
